CM Punjab Directs To Build Temporary Shelter Homes With Immediate Effect

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has ordered to built temporary shelter homes for the people in the province amid cold weather.

In his statement issued here from Lahore, he ordered authorities concerned to build shelter homes for the homeless people to save them from the cold weather.

It is responsibility of the state to protect underprivileged section of the society, he said.

On the other hand, PTI leader Senator Faisal Javed Khan has said that first time in the history of Pakistan, a government is working for the welfare of poor segment of the society.

Talking to residents of a shelter home in Islamabad during his visit today (Sunday), he said these shelter homes are the residence for poor and homeless people and provision of basic facilities is an important step of the government.

Senator Faisal Javed inspected facilities being provided in shelter home and arrangements to save the residents from cold weather.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqat was also with his during this visit.
