ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided on Friday to expend the health, Sehat, card across the country as Prime Minister Imran Khan has sought the details of the project regarding issuance and results.
According to details, PM Imran has directed to distribute the health cards to each needy people till 2020 as each citizen owns health card can get the free treatment of Rs 0.72 million.
People can get the free treatment form not only state owned hospitals but also major private hospitals as well while people will also get the facility of surgery, operation and medical check-up.
PM Imran has been apprised that the target to the distribution of cards to in tribal belt of the KP has been completed and people are using their health card easily. He was informed that 62 per cent people of KP are getting the advantage of free treatment and till February 2020 all will have health cards.
