ISLAMABAD: Following the complaints of data theft, Pakistan has contacted Whatsapp administration over the issue and asked for steps to stop such practices in future.
According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, using malware the data of the users has been stolen through hacking and a large number of Pakistan are included in the affectees.
PTA has also asked Whatsapp to submit details over the precautionary steps in this connection.
Whatsapp appealed the people to only use the updated version of the micro-blogging website and the people who affected from the issue have to register their complaints to PTA.
