ISLAMABAD: Whole of the country is in the grip of freezing cold while Istoor declared the coldest area where mercury recorded at negative eight.
Capital city of Baluchistan, Quetta remained exceptional with negative eight degree centigrade recorded while zero in Gilgit, five in Islamabad, seven in Lahore and 7.5 degree centigrade recorded in Karachi.
The biggest city of the country, Karachi will remain in the wave of cold weather until January 22.
On the other-hand plains of Punjab continued blanketed with severe fog while Khanewal-Multan motorway closed after the dense fog.
The fog also disrupted flow of traffic on M-3 motorway.
