KARACHI: Federal Minister for Information Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddique has announced to quit his ministry.
Holding a press conference in Karachim Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan cited lack of fulfillment of promises by the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) government.
Khalid Maqbool Siddique in the last 16-month rule of the incumbent government not a single promise made to the party fulfilled.
He denied reason to quit the government over offer of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made last month to the MQM-P.
On the other hand he said they will continue supporting the PTI government as promised at the formation of the government.
The MQM-P leader said that” it can not be happened that people are disturbed and I am enjoying the power of the ministry.”
He said that he didn’t seen any benefit in remaining in the ministry for the people of Karachi adding that the MQM-P in past also supported Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
