ISLAMABAD: The special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan claimed on Thursday that the government of neighbour country has also exercised power over the appointment of the army chief, however, parliament being approached in this connection.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of cab service in Islamabad, Dr Firdous said that opposition is equally responsible for national security like government as the tradition to drag politics in institutions should be ended.
He claimed international leadership is accepting PM Imran as a transparent leader and the visit of Abu Dhabi crown prince is the symbol of it.
