
ISLAMABAD: The petition against the presidential ordinances has been submitted in Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.
The petitioner told the court in his request that despite the presence of parliament issuance of the ordinance against the constitution while IHC sought reply from the government over the issue but no reply was submitted by the federal government despite the passage of one and half month.
“Despite cases are in process in court presidential ordinances are being issued as the constitution only permitted to issue a presidential ordinance in an emergency but the government is making legislation on the same way,” it said.
Petitioner told the court that the government has issued over 2500 ordinances so far.
