ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a session of the parliamentary party on today.
The premier will chair the parliamentary party huddle today at 10 am in order to finalise strategy for the approval of the Army Act amendment bill from the Parliament
The premier will also attend the session of the National Assembly today, sources added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the bill regarding amendment in the Army Act will be tabled in the National Assembly on Friday (today).
After Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples’ Party has decided to back federal government’s Army Act amendment bill in National Assembly.
As per the details, the decision was taken during a party’s consultative meeting presided over by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The meeting decided to ask the government not to hurry in making decision and the government members should be given time for preparation.
