Being Punished For Doing Good Work: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal on Friday said that he was being punished for doing good work.

The PML-N leader talked to media after he appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi in Narowal Sports City case.

He said that the project ( Narowal Sports City) has bee destroyed in last 18 months, adding that the working on the sports city was halted on the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He added that the government was failed to detain mafias behind food items’s crisis.

The PML-N leader said the leaders have committed acts of economic terrorism and the incumbent government will be held accountable for it.

Ahsan Iqbal maintained that Pakistan is being pushed towards economic slavery by the government.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had granted bail against surety bonds worth Rs 10 million to former federal minister in Narowal Sports City case earlier this week.

On December 23, PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal was arrested by NAB over corruption charges in the case. NAB had initiated the investigation of case against PML-N leader in July.
