ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started investigations of misappropriation in Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
According to sources, FIA will start inquiry between 2010 to 2018 and will probe the assets and accounts of sixteen officials and their families.
On the other hand, FIA Sindh has started an investigation of alleged fraud in BISP from the government employees.
Director FIA has nominated an official as inquiry officer as FIA Islamabad has provided a list to inquiry officer.
According to FIA officials, each province will register each inquiry in BISP as FIA Sindh has formally registered an inquiry.
