LAHORE:The government negotiating committee won over the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi.
The government team comprising Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Usman Buzdar, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, PTI leader Pervez Khattak, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar and Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mehmood hold talks with the leadership of the PML-Q.
Speaker Punjab Assembly (PA) Pervez Ellahi, Chaudhry Monis Elahi, Kamil Ali Agha, Tariq Bashir Cheema represented the PML-Q.
While talking to media after the meeting, PML-Q’s Pervez Elahi told that his party has full confidence in the leadership of the Prime Minister Imran Khan and issues with the government have been resolved.
He said that we will make all out efforts to keep the alliance intact till next election.
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that we will move forward with mutual consultation to cope with the challenge being faced by the country.
He said that “we have discussed all the issues in detailed.”
PTI senior leader Pervez Khattak, at the occasion,has said that alliance between PTI and PML-Q will continue as the issues have been resolved amicably.
He appreciated PML-Q for holding peaceful talks. The committee has assured to work together with the government allies for the betterment of the country.
