Hamza Escapes Indictment in Ramzan Sugar Mills Case

LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz escaped indictment on Friday by an accountability court in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case and the court has extended his judicial remand for 14 days.

The judge of the accountability court no 5 Amjad Nazeer held a hearing of the Ramzan Sugar Mills case as Hamza has been produced before the court.

Court has summoned Hamza in the next hearing while it accepted permanent absence of his father and opposition leader in national assembly Shahbaz Sharif from appearing in court personally during the hearing.

On the request of the NAB, AC has accepted the extension of 14 days in the judicial remand of the Punjab assembly leader.
