ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said ML-1 is an important project to the uplift of Pakistan Railways.
He was talking to media persons outside Supreme Court in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said this project will provide immense job opportunities to our youth adding that the railways can not be run wtihout the ML-1 project.
Regarding Karachi Circular Railway, the Minister said both Federal and Provincial government are on the same page on this project. He said we have also submitted a business plan of Pakistan Railways before the Supreme Court.
Speaking at the occasion,Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that the ML-1 project of Pakistan Railways will be presented before the next meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of CPEC to be held in April.
The Minister said the process of the project’s approval from Central Development Working Party and the ECNEC will be completed in time.
