KARACHI: Sindh Police on first day of lock-down has arrested as many as 359 people from
various cities of the province over the violation of the lock-down.
As per the Karachi police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon 119 persons were arrested from Karachi while cases were registered against 17 people and remaining were set free after issuing strict warning.
Sukkur police has also arrested more than 200 people while cases were registered against five persons.
On the other hand Rangers police in a joint action have arrested 40 people over violation of section 144 in Tehsil Obaro of Ghothi district.
As per the local police all the people were coming from Karachi to Obaro on a Truck while medical examination of all will be carried out, police said.
