Coronavirus cases jumped to 23 in KP

PESHAWAR: The coronavirus cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa reached to 23 as provincial government working on war foot basis to make arrangements to combat with the epidemic.

The adviser to information Ajmal Wazir said that the religious scholars are agreed on doctors instruction regarding social distancing and they are playing their role.

After the death of a woman, who was included in pilgrims from Iran and infected by a coronavirus, the government has intensified the arrangements as most of the government officials and employees directed to stay homes.

On the directives of the KP chief minister Mehmood Khan, the IG KP Sanaullah Abbasi visited quarantine set up in Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and reviewed the facilities being given at the facility.
