ISLAMABAD: The nationwide tally of COVID-19 patients soars past 1,400 while the doctors and paramedical staff have also started infected with the novel virus that forced the government to shut Polyclinic Hospital in the capital.
According to Coronavirus Command and Control Center, three paramedical staff including a doctor tested positive in polyclinic that forced the administration to seal the hospital and sent all doctors to quarantine for screening. The corona patients tally in Islamabad reached at 39
The data issued by Coronavirus Command and Control Centerr the countrywide corona patients reached to 1408 with 457 cases in Sindh, 497 in Punjab, 133 in Balochistan, 180 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 107 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 39 in Islamabad and two in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The virus has claimed 11 lives in Pakistan. On the other hand, 25 patients have fully recovered.
