Distribution of Medicines Close Across The Country After Lockdown

KARACHI: The distribution of drugs and medicines has been closed in the lock-down.

Pakistan Chemists and Drugs Association has written letters to the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers over the situation.

The letters written to the premier and chief ministers highlighted that distribution of drugs and medicines stopped after the government lock-down against the coronavirus while the courier companies working in the country have refused delivery of the medicines due to the ongoing lock-down.

The letter informed the all concerned that the demand of medicines increased after the coronavirus but its distribution closed after the governments took measure of lock-down to contain the virus.

The pharmaceutical association demanded the government allowing the courier companies inter-cities distribution of medicines warning that in the lack of it shortage of medicines can be happen.
