MULTAN: The drives, who drove back the pilgrims from Taftan to Multan, have coronavirus, the report said.
According to details, yesterday, Monday, a convey of 31 buses brought back the pilgrims from Taftan to Multan and its adjoining areas and when the 80 drivers and helpers of the buses screened for coronavirus four of them tested positive while remaining 76 tested negative.
The infected four drivers have been shifted to hospital and their samples have been sent to Lahore for further tests.
On the other hand, citizens of Multan ensured government of their cooperation over lockdown decision and they said they only buy food items for their essential need and they will block any attempt of hoarding.
