ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who recently returned to country after visiting China along with President Alvi adopting self distancing has announced to carry out coronavirus test.
Talking about his decision he said that he in fear of the coronavirus has quarantined himself and the medical experts have advised him to undergo tests for coronavirus after five days and he has decided to remain in isolation.
He said that his purpose to visit China had to express solidarity with China over human losses in the hands of the global epidemic coronavirus while he added that Wuhan was said to be epicenter of the virus while another case of the virus has been reported in China yesterday.
Qureshi said that for the Chinese leadership it is testing times and China is with us in our difficult time while the government trusted the Chinese government by not bringing Pakistan stranded there adding that Pakistani students have in contact with Pakistan’s embassy.
He said that adopting precautionary measures for the coronavirus is must while country’s lock down amid the coronavirus will effect our economy negatively.
