Hoarded Masks Worth Rs Two Million Recovered From Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A team of Punjab health department in an action carried out in capital at secret godown has recovered N-95 masks worth of Rs 20 million.

According to the health department Punjab the action has been taken on a tip off in Islamabad sector F-6 in which as many as one lakh  and fifty thousands of masks of worth Rs two million have been recovered.

A group of four Chinese persons involved in hoarding of masks has been arrested in the action while the process has also been started for the registration of FIR.

Inspector General Islamabad Amir Zulfiqar said that the people involved in the hoarding are not deserve any compensation of any kind.

The government in wake of the coronavirus has banned hoarding of masks and necessary medicines while the government has given a task to two civilian  intelligence agencies to keep an eye on hoarding, black marketing and smuggling of masks and .sanitizers.
