ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the federal and provincial governments as well as all the relevant institutions are working devotedly to protect the people from coronavirus.
In a series of tweets on Thursday, she said the federal government is fully cognizant of its responsibilities to meet the challenge.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said we have to fight the coronavirus with a national resolve. She said the people should follow the precautionary measures with courage and prudency. They should avoid going to the gatherings, avoid handshakes and repeatedly wash hands.
The Special Assistant hailed the services of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in the current situation.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said the Chinese people confronted the coronavirus with discipline and cohesion, and there is a lesson for us to get rid of the virus through collective efforts.
