ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday once again demanded resignation of the Chairman NAB.
Talking to media after Supreme Court of Pakistan granted bail to Khawaja brothers ( Khwaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique ) in the Paragon housing society scandal former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that it was proved once اgain today that “the NAB is being used to suppress voices of the opposition parties.”
Shahid demanded that the Chairman NAB should go home after tendering his resignation.after the bail of Khawaja Saad Rafique۔
“We kept on calling again and again that close the NAB to run the country and wanted an amendment to close the NAB and it is a high time to close the anti-graft body.” he added.
Lamenting on Prime Minister Imran Khan, the ex-premier said that ” Prime Minister Imran Khan should listen to the court what it said today that the accusations to be leveled as per the law but the PM Imran Khan’s every action is based on the mala fide intention.
At the occasion, Khawaja Asif said that we don’t want such a law in the future which can be used targeting figures on a political basis adding that the court remarks and our bails after one another are the evidence of the political victimization.
He said that the country will go towards destruction as long as the PTI government will run.
Ahsan Iqbal criticizing the government said that the NAB just revealing fascism just running on the will of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
There is no need of existence of the NAB after the today’s verdict, Ahsan Added.
