RAWALPINDI: Karachi Kings elected to field first against Islamabad United on Sunday, as the two sides clash for the first time in the PSL 2020.
Talking about his decision to bowl first KK captain said that “the pitch will have some dew because of the rain,” said Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim. “Mohammad Amir will use the pitch conditions to his advantage.” He said that teams should not depend on individuals to win matches.
Islamabad United have made two changes to the squad as Skipper Shadab Khan said that Malan had been benched to play right-arm fast bowler Dale Steyn. Amad Butt will sit this one out as Mohammad Rizwan has been included in the side to bring some depth into the Islamabad batting.
