Petition Filed Seeking Ban on Aurat March in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking a ban on Aurat, woman, March in the capital by the citizens.

According to details, citizens Imran Aziz, Ayub Ansari and others have approached IHC and made the federal government and chief commissioner Islamabad as respondent.

The petitioners told the court that on the name of women freedom the play cards inscribed with the content is against the Islamic values as it will promote the obscenity in the society, therefore, the court should order stay order against the march.

It is worth mentioning that a rally being held on March 8, international women day, while Pakistan bar council has already been announced its support to the rally.
