Punjab Govt Announces Partial Lock-Down

LAHORE: Punjab government has formally announced 14-day partial lock-down across the province.

All the markets, shopping malls, tourists destinations, wedding halls and public places will remain closed from Tuesday morning.

Addressing a presser the Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar said that a meeting called for the prevention measures against the global epidemic coronavirus decided to lock-down in the province from March 24 To April 6.

Shopping malls, shops, parks, restaurants and all the places of public gathering will remain closed during the lock-down.

The CM Punjab requested the people to fully cooperate with the law enforcement agencies, all the government institutions and military.

Usman Buzdar also informed that pillion ridding will be banned in the wake of the situation while all the families will be exempted from the ban.
