LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government has
taken all the measures for the possible patients of the coronavirus while a corona care center
comprising 30-bed hospital at Punjab Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) is in connection of
advance arrangements.
The CM Punjab visited the facility to inspect advance arrangements for the world epidemic
while a briefing was given to the CM regarding facilities available at the center.
He also reviewed availability of beds for the possible patients at the PKLI while he said that
there are 75 beds in the three-storey of the PKLI adding that if needed more 500 beds will be
provided to the center.
Adopting precautionary measures are the best strategy to be safe from the virus, he said that adding he observed the best arrangements in the outdoor and indoor patients while all the sources are being used to save people from the epidemic.
Provincial Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid, Chief Secretary, Secretary Specialized health care and medical education, secretary primary and secondary health care, secretary information and seniors doctors of the PKIL were also present at the occasion.
