RAWALPINDI: Security forces in its successful operation mowed down seven terrorists in North Waziristan.
According to ISPR, an action was carried out on a confirmed tip off of a secrete hide out of terrorists at Mamma Ziyarat village situated seven km from North Waziristan area Datta Khail.
The terrorists started firing after the security forces surrounded the area while Pakistan army soldiers responded with bravery and killed as many as seven terrorists.
The ISPR added that four soldiers including an officer embraced martyrdom in the operation while one personnel sustained injury.
The martyred soldiers included Lieutenant Agha Muqadas of Lahore, Hawaldar Qamar Nadeem, sepoy Muhammad Qasim of Liyah and Sepoy Tauseef belonged to Norowal.
A heavy contingent of ammunition, mortars and large number of IDs were also recovered in the operation.
