KARACHI: Provincial Health Minister Azra Fazal Pechuho on Friday confirmed first death from the coronavirus in SIndh.
Azra Fazal Pechuho informed that the 77-year-old female patient was a cancer survivor, had diabetes and hypertension, did not have travel or contact history and she was infected with the virus and subsequently lost his life.
She was shifted to a private hospital yesterday where she died, the minister added.
On the other hand 37 more cases of global epidemic reported in Karachi which brought the tally of the virus in province to 245.
Uptill now, 151 cases in Sukkur, 93 cases in Karachi, one in Hyderabad have been reported.
The health ministry also informed that three patients of the coronavirus have recovered from the virus.
