ISLAMABAD: Wing Commander Noman Akram embraced martyrdom as his fighter F-16 crashed during the rehearsal of Pakistan Day Parade.
Pakistan Air Force has confirmed that wing commander Noman Akram has embraced martyrdom in the F-16 plane crash which wan on rehearsal for Pakistan Day Parade.
A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident, the statement added.
Rescue teams rushed to the site of the crash after the incident.
