ISLAMABAD: The Council Of Islamic Ideology (CII) two-days important meeting will be held today to consider National Accountability Bureau’s ordinance in light of Islam.
The meeting will be chaired by CII Chief Dr Qibla Ayaz while a 20-point agenda has been sent to members of the body. The huddle will be started at 12:30 am.
The sitting will review rights of women in heirship, forced change of religion and the NAB ordinance.
The issue of physical punishment to children also included in the agenda while the meeting will also review protest and strikes of lawyers, doctors, and teachers in the light of Islam.
The media will be briefed on the CII in-camera meeting after its conclusion.
