Punjab Govt Denies Increase In CM Office Expenditures

LAHORE: Provincial minister for Information Punjab Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chauhan has denied  increase in expenditures of Chief Minister Punjab office.

Talking to media the provincial minister for Punjab Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chauhan informed that as many as 450 employees and near 200 officers were posted at the time of Shahabaz Sharif in the CM secretariat while now 403 employees and 103 officers are working in the secretariat.

Apprising further, the minister said that Shahbaz Sharif had spent Rs 90 million in the year 2017-2018 on entertainment and gifts while the CM Buzdar has spent Rs 5.30 million rupees on the same purpose in the first year of his government.

He said that Shahbaz Sharif in his last year as the CM  spent Rs 30. 40 million on petrol expenses while the CM Buzdar brought down the expenditure for the same purpose to Rs 20.24 million.in the first year of his government.
