ISLAMABAD: The Prime minister said on Wednesday that the eradication of polio from Pakistan is the topmost priority of the government.
He made these views while meeting with the Rotary International delegation and discussed the measures taken by the government to end polio from the country.
Dr Zafar Mirza briefed the delegation over the measures taken by the government in this connection as the Rotary International hailed Pakistan steps.
Talking on the occasion, PM Imran said that the entire nation is on the same page in the eradication of polio and government is making all-out efforts to get rid of the menace.
PM also apprised them that the government is taking special measures at Pak-Afghan border to set a mechanism to check the entry and exit at the border.
