Indian Atrocities Can’t Stop Kashmir Freedom Movement: Dr Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has regretted that the writers and journalists in occupied Kashmir have been denied their basic right of freedom of expression and speech.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day at Islamabad Press Club on Wednesday, she said the Indian forces in the occupied territory have also held hostage the power of the pen.

She said Pakistani journalists will continue to highlight the plight of oppressed Kashmiri people.

She said India through its state terrorism cannot crush the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people. She said the entire Pakistani nation stands by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.
