ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court on Monday suspended Peshawar High Court order to investigate Peshawar BRT while the superior court has asked to submit overall cost and details regarding its completion.
A three member bench headed by Justice Umar Atta Bandial heard the KPK provincial government petition seeking stoppage of investigation by FIA on the orders of Peshawar High Court (PHC).
During the hearing the SC questioned what date was set for the completion of the Peshawar BRT project? what was initial cost of the project?when it will be completed?
Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel inquired is there any date or time for its completion?
The SC has instructed to provide overall cost of the project and all details regarding its completion.
The hearing was adjourned till indefinite period
