ISLAMABAD: Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Ismail Gatalki called on Interior Minister Ijaz Shah in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed matters pertaining to the refugees and illegal immigrants.
In his remarks, the Interior Minister thanked the Turkish side for supporting Pakistan at every international forum.
He said the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Pakistan remained very successful.
The Interior Ministry’s officials on the occasion said that security has been tightened at the airports to curb illegal travelling. They said the people can no longer travel on fake documents.
The officials said that the proposal of introducing electronic passports will soon be implemented.
