KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on first day of week again restored after being halted for 45-minutes as bearish trend gripped the market in the wake of coronavirus and decreasing prices of oil around the globe.
When market was halted it had lost 1651 points and 100-index benchmark was trading at 34,409. The market witnessed a decline of 4. 38 percent since market started in the morning.
In previous week the market was also suspended for 45-minutes on Monday, Thursday and Friday. On the last day in the earlier week, Friday, the market had closed at 36, 060 points after loss of 104 points.
