London: The personal physician of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Dr Adnan has been injured in an attack by unidentified persons here in London.
According to a spokesman of Sharif family mask-wearing persons attacked Dr. Adnan through a steel rod at Park Lane area of London when he was on an evening walk.
The spokesman said that Dr Adnan sustained injuries in head, face, neck and chest while he was shifted to the hospital in the injured state.
Dr Adnan had received threatening calls before the attack and its evidence have been provided to police, the spokesman added.
The spokesman condemned the attack on the Dr and said that we have right to respond on the attack by legal means.
The London police said that they have received a complaint regarding the attack on the Dr. Adnan and they started an investigation on the matter.
