Verdict Reserved On Faryal Talpur Petition To Restore Her Freeze Accounts

ISLAMABAD: An Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad on Tuesday reserved the judgement
on the petition filed by Faryal Talpur to restore her freeze accounts in the fake accounts case.

According to details, the AC heard the petition filed by sister of Asif Ali Zardari in the fake
accounts case against freezing her accounts.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitting reply in the case opposed the restoration
of the freeze accounts of Faryal Talpur.

The NAB prosecutor said that we froze the accounts having suspected transactions while
saying freeze accounts hampering running in house affairs is unjustified while she owned other
more accounts.

The NAB contended that her petition is not on merit and prayed to court it should be rejected.

The prosecutor also informed the court that Faryal Talpur is a director and signatory of the
Zardari group of companies and transactions from fake accounts to the Zardari group accounts existed.

On which, counsel of Faryal Talpur Farooq H Nayik said that “we are requesting to restore personal accounts of her clients not of the Zardari group” while he asked the NAB which money has transferred to the personal accounts of Faryal Tapur and stressed that it should not make her client victimize and read the verdict of the IHC.

After hearing the arguments of both the sides the court reserved the judgment while it will be announced on March 20.
