ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says eradication of polio from the country is amongst the top priorities of the government.
Talking to WHO representative in Pakistan Dr Palitha Gunarathna Mahipala in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan government is taking all necessary steps to check the spread of Coronavirus.
He said thermal scanners have been installed at airports.
The Foreign Minister expressed hope that WHO will continue its cooperation with Pakistan for improvement in the health sector.
The WHO representative said his organization has enhanced its cooperation with Pakistan for the eradication of polio from the country.
