LAHORE: The Wing Commander Noman Akram, who was embraced martyrdom when his plane crashed, has been laid to rest with full military honour on Thursday in Lahore.
Earlier, funeral prayers of martyred Wing Commander Noman Akram has been offered.
The martyred wing commander had died yesterday in the PAF fighter jet F-16 crash near Shakarparian.
He was taking part in Pakistan day rehearsal when he met an accident.
The funeral prayer was offered in the Askari 10 of Lahore while renown religious personality Maulana Tariq Jameel led the prayers.
The high civilian and military leaders attended the prayers and later he was laid to rest with all military honour.
Later, governor Punjab laid the floral wreath on his grave and recite Fateh as he also expressed condolence with martyr’s family.
Talking on the occasion, governor Punjab said the Noman Akram was the hero of the nation and his sacrifice would be remembered for ever.
