ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has filed another application on Saturday to delist name of party vice president Maryam Nawaz from Exit Control List (ECL).
According to details, the PML-N has filed another plea to strike-off Maryam Nawaz name from ECL and it made the interior ministry, DG FIA and chairman NAB as respondents.
In the plea, she has the stance that her name was placed in the ECL without giving her notice and it was the violation of the basic rights.
“Court should ordered the government to delist her name from ECL and termed the ECL memorandum unconstitutional and illegal and also allow her to go abroad for six weeks,” she told the court.
It is worth mentioning that cabinet’s subcommittee has put the issue in pending as most of the ministers including PM Imran Khan were strongly opposing to put out the name of Maryam Nawaz from ECL.
